The Canadian Marine Careers Foundation Welcomes The Greater Montreal Sea Scouts as a Partner

The Canadian Marine Careers Foundation is pleased to announce that the Greater Montreal Sea Scouts are now part of the Foundation’s growing network of partners.
By blending scouting principles with real nautical training, the Greater Montreal Sea Scouts give young people a strong foundation in safety, leadership, and community engagement. Their membership strengthens CMCF’s efforts to promote awareness of marine careers among youth across the country.

About the Greater Montreal Sea Scouts:
The Greater Montreal Sea Scouts is a boating school certified under Transport Canada's TP 15136 standard offering both onboard and classroom training to volunteers and youth groups.
Their team of trained instructors includes members of the Canadian Auxiliary Coast Guard, maritime industry professionals, as well as certified instructors with Sail Canada, all advocating for safe boating and maritime careers.
Their charitable organization status allows them to issue tax receipts to donators, and they accept boats and nautical material for reselling.
Being actively engaged in the boating community, they have been nominated in the Service Business of the Year category at the 2024 Nautisme Québec Gala.
