With offices and stations in all regions across Canada, the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) offers candidates a range of positions, including specialists in aids to navigation, environmental response, icebreaking, communications, security, waterways management, search and rescue as well as corporate administration and management positions.
CCG mariners and shore-based staff support and operate the Government of Canada civilian fleet composed of a diverse and multi-purpose fleet of icebreakers, hovercrafts, buoy tenders, scientific research vessels, search and rescue vessels. The CCG fleet also provides support to other government activities such as enforcement (police and fisheries management) and hydrographic services.
